We encourage a straightforward and drama-free discussion about taboo topics as deemed by society. Traditionally, our society recognized only two sexes: male and female, influenced by the myth of Malakas and Maganda. However, as our understanding of human sexuality evolves, we see that it's not limited to this binary. We aim to provide a foundation for understanding sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, and sexual characteristics (SOGIESC).

Who are we?
Here’s our story! Creators of Breaking Taboos believe that knowledge is power, and by addressing these taboo subjects head-on, we can break down barriers and promote understanding.In an attempt to contribute to the gender inequality in the Philippines, we have decided to create a safe space for learning. Our extensive range of educational content covers everything from birth control to sexual assault, and from body image to LGBTQ+ terminology.We hope that we can help foster a culture of curiosity and openness, ensuring that students feel comfortable seeking information.

Asexual
Generally characterized by not feeling sexual attraction or a desire for partnered sexuality. Asexuality is distinct from celibacy, which is the deliberate abstention from sexual activity.
Bisexual
A person whose primary sexual and affectional orientation is toward people of the same and other genders, or towards people regardless of their gender.
Coming out
Refers to voluntarily making public one’s sexual orientation and/or gender identity.
